This blanket chest has dark turquoise blue paint that has oxidized into the most lovely color. The box has some signs of a wear from use and some old repairs. It really is all about the color though on this box. The box is 18th century and from the New York or New England region. It is signed in pencil on the till on the interior.

Condition: Some old repairs to the trunk. The two front feet have been repaired. Repaired chip on the side. Some other signs of age related use.
