Its clear rectangular form, slender turned legs, and articulated apron create a well-proportioned piece of furniture with a calm, understated presence. It features a backgammon board inside.

Removable tabletop with renewed green leather covering; interior compartment with inlaid game board pattern in contrasting wood veneers. The design features clean lines with minimal ornamentation, emphasized by the segmented frame and slender, turned legs, which lend the piece visual lightness. Formerly used as a games and card table in a parlor or reception room. Today, it can be used as a small side or work table with concealed storage.
