The frame features cabriole legs, a serpentine seat rail, and a cartouche-shaped back, all characteristic of the Rococo period. It has carved floral and foliate details on the crest, knees, and arm supports. The chair is upholstered in a needlepoint-style fabric with floral motifs on a golden-yellow ground, attached with decorative tacks. The back is covered in a plain, matching yellow fabric. The arms are open with padded rests (manchettes).
