This vase was most likely produced by the Fayence and Tile Factory Holland from Utrecht, the Netherlands. This factory was also known as "Mijnlieff," after its owner, Jan-Willem Mijnlieff. Production Period and Style: The factory produced decorative pottery and tiles from 1894 to 1920. The vase was likely made around 1900 in the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style. The piece features a striking, tapered, and slightly architectural design. The glaze combines a dark brown, glossy rim with a sepia-toned, matte center panel. The vase is marked Utrecht 1 on the bottom. The vase is in good vintage condition considering its age. It has some crack lines, but no chips or breaks. The Utrecht vase is 28.8 cm high, 13.5 cm wide, and 9.2 cm deep. See less
