The decoration features flowering branches and stylised floral reserves, arranged around a central cartouche and framed by shaped lobed edges.

The reverse is painted with characteristic underglaze blue motifs, including birds in flight, and bears a small hand-painted mark to the base. The painting is expressive and well balanced, with attractive contrast between the cobalt blue, warm iron red, and restrained gilding.
