Its provenance complements the understated design and functional nature of the piece, characteristic of furniture from this period. This wall cabinet was manufactured in the 1960s and is made of teak. Its slender shape and shallow depth make it easy to place in various rooms without being overpowering. The lower section consists of a chest of drawers with five drawers. The drawers feature organically shaped wooden cup handles and open and close smoothly. Above the chest of drawers is a shallow display cabinet with two adjustable shelves. The glass door closes with an original key and offers space for displaying objects or books. The cabinet stands on four slender, tapered wooden legs that create a light appearance and an open base. We have fully professionally renovated the woodwork. Old finishes were removed, after which the furniture was hand-sanded and treated with a matte Danish oil. This has brought the natural texture and warm tones of the teak back to life. The cabinet is in excellent condition and ready for immediate use. Upon purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions and matching furniture oil to keep it in top condition.
