A wonderful pair of antique military campaign style bedside chests. They were made in England, and date from around the 1930’s.
They are of superb quality and are a lovely size, perfect for use as bedside chests or even as side tables in a living room. There are wonderful brass fixtures throughout, including military handles, side carrying handles and brass corner fittings. Each chest has two generous drawers, they sit on bracket feet. The tops are beautifully inset with tooled leather.
We have recently had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age with just some extremely minor wear here and there. They have acquired a gorgeous patina over the years.
