Rare 'seatbelt' Chairs designed by Gijs Bakker in 1978 for Castelijn.
Not many of these were produced, it was only in production for one year in 1978. Collectible items.
There were different models in this series: dining chairs and lounge chairs with and without armrests. For sale are two Armchairs and two without armrests.
It has an ash wood frame and black nylon seatbelt straps seat and backrest.
The chairs are in a good original condition, some normal traces of use. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
