Each shade is handblown using the traditional incamiciato (cased) technique, in which a core of white opal glass (lattimo) is encased in a sheath of amber-toned glass. This layered construction creates a beautiful visual depth: the exterior reads as a warm, honeyed amber with darker caramel accents, while the white interior reflects and softens the light, producing an even, diffused glow rather than glare.

The elongated cylindrical forms are distinguished by an organic, dripped surface that gives them a sculptural, almost molten appearance, with subtle variations from piece to piece that underscore their artisan, handblown origin.
