A beautiful 19th-century Dutch piggy bank with a striking green glaze.
This antique folk-art piece is crafted from earthenware and formed in an elongated oval shape with four small legs and a narrow coin slot on the back. The rich green glaze has aged gracefully, showing subtle tonal variations that highlight its original handmade character.
These coin banks were traditionally sealed and had to be broken to retrieve savings, making intact examples like this one very scarce today.
