During this early period of the style, designers embraced dramatic contrasts and luxurious materials to satisfy the most demanding clientele. The armchairs have undergone extensive and complete restoration. The beech construction has been newly finished in a high-gloss black polish, known as piano lacquer, which creates a deep mirror effect. Great attention was paid to comfort and authenticity: the chairs feature traditional spring upholstery and have been newly, professionally upholstered according to the original design. The chosen textile fabric imitating animal fur is a direct reference to the era popularity of exotic motifs, which early Art Deco architects frequently used to emphasize luxury and uniqueness.

It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process.
