Wavy surface in relief, on which the filigree animal figures and plants appear almost transparent in the characteristic shimmer of the porcelain. Following on from the swan couple that gives the service its name, each individual piece of the service depicts a variation on a mythological motif. Colourful painting with indian flower branches and scattered flowers, as well as gold decoration, handles designed as sucking fish, vessel knobs as snails.
