This view of the Chateau de Monceaux represents the month of December, and was woven in the late 17th Century at the Royal Gobelins Manufactory.
This beautiful tapestry is hand-woven by skilled artisans in pure New Zealand wool, keeping alive the centuries old traditional weaving methods from generation to generation. This tapestry is fully lined incorporating a sleeve along the top for hanging with a Hines hanging rod. Alternatively, this tapestry can be hung with a wooden batten which is a concealed method of hanging.
