This elegant vintage Italian art glass piece is crafted in the form of a traditional Venetian gondola, a timeless symbol of Venice. Hand-blown in rich ruby-red glass with clear sculptural elements, the piece is beautifully finished with hand-applied gold accents along the rim, handles, and pedestal base.
Delicate white enamel scrollwork and gilt decorative motifs enhance the body, adding visual depth and refinement. The elongated shape with raised ends precisely echoes the graceful silhouette of a gondola boat, making this piece both decorative and symbolic.
Originally designed as a gondola ashtray or trinket dish, it now functions beautifully as a decorative centerpiece, vide-poche, or collectible Murano-style accent. A striking addition to Hollywood Regency, eclectic, or Italian-inspired interiors.
