Six ceramic tiles of apples and pears by artist, Colette Gueden punctuate the two doors. The buffet interior consists of a shelf behind each door. "Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet were a French duo who worked together during the mid-20th century. They are known for their innovative use of natural materials, including rope, wicker, and bamboo, in their furniture designs. Their work was heavily influenced by the modernist movement, which sought to create functional and streamlined designs that were accessible to a wider audience. They became known for their use of sustainable materials, such as rope, which they would weave together to create chairs, sofas, and other furniture pieces. Their work was also characterized by a strong sense of craftsmanship, with each piece being handmade by the designers themselves or by skilled artisans. Despite the popularity of their designs, Audoux and Minet remained relatively unknown outside of France until the 1950s, when their work began to be showcased in international exhibitions."
