Here is a beautiful porcelain Vista Alegre serving bowl in the Fontainebleau pattern. Hand-painted blue-and-gold designs dress up the exterior and interior of the bowl: a swag design encircles the outer and inner rim; a richly detailed flower-and-leaf motif appears at the center. Not to be neglected, even the shallow foot of the bowl is circled with a gold design.
The bowl measures 8.5" across. The condition is excellent, with no gold loss, chips, cracks or crazing and light (to no) signs of use or age.
