This Shanghai China jewelry box is made of rosewood. It has engraved brass corner mounts and a Jade-like, perforated medallion inset into the lid. The interior is made of green, brocade silk with a removable tray that has divided compartments for jewelry. There are brass drop handles on both sides. It has the original Shanghai China metal tag. In near mint condition. The interior is mint…it looks like it’s never been used. The exterior has very minimal evidence of use. It doesn’t have the little bar that holds it closed. There is no damage or repairs.
