This intriguing graphic work by Mariangelo Zappitelli is conceived like a sequence of small illustrated frames, reminiscent of a storyboard, a comic strip, or fragments of a visual diary. Arranged in two vertical columns, the panels depict a series of symbolic and surreal scenes: animals, birds, small human figures, interior spaces, and abstract decorative motifs. Some images suggest episodes of everyday life, while others appear more dreamlike or allegorical, leaving the narrative open to interpretation. The monochrome warm sepia/brown palette gives the entire composition an antique, almost parchment-like quality, enhancing the feeling of memory and storytelling.
