Crafted from solid mahogany, a noble wood reclaimed from old Indian colonial homes, it offers perfect stability: this wood, already marked by time, will no longer warp or twist.
Its top is adorned with delicate marquetry depicting a compass rose in ebony and light wood, a poetic tribute to great voyages. The chest is organized into two sections with a first row of two drawers for small items, followed by three wide drawers offering ample storage. Each drawer is fitted with discreet yet robust recessed brass handles.
