Carved from deep-hued mahogany, they rest on powerful and dynamic front legs, known as "hock legs," while the saber-shaped rear legs ensure discreet and elegant stability.
The armrests, finely carved with scrolls, are supported by gracefully curved consoles, themselves set upon bases adorned with lateral palmettes, an emblematic decorative signature of the period. The generously padded, curved backs offer enveloping comfort, enhanced by seats entirely reupholstered using traditional techniques: horsehair and springs, for perfect and lasting support. The new and luminous blue Casal fabric adds a contemporary touch to the ensemble, subtly highlighting the warmth of the wood and the purity of the lines.
