Decorated with … Read more A stunning pair of French Louis XV style grand vitrines in the manner of Vernis Martin, circa 1900. Decorated with flame mahogany veneers, the vitrines are richly trimmed with gilt bronze throughout. The bombé base has hand painted panels on each side, framed with acanthus and rose ormolu. Saber legs are finished with scrolled sabots. Comes with four glass shelves. Makers label in the back reads “Herts Brothers, Furniture Maker, Broadway and Twentieth Street, New York”. See less
