Lovely small mid 20th C polychrome delft ginger jar.
Original delft was made in blue and white, but in the 18th C more colors begun to be used in delft and became popular. In later years polychrome delft experienced a revival. It is valued and sought after by designers and collectors both.
This Ginger Jar with a blue lion finial was made around 1950. Both small and large polychrome pieces are desirable. The Ginger jar comes with the distinct lid blue lion finial on the lid. Included is on lid and one jar set.
