The softcover art book with French fold-over covers is published by Collezione D'Arte Aldina in collaboration with The Fernand Hazan Publishing House in Paris. Printed in Italy in 1953. It features a monograph survey collection of the artworks of the artist Paul Klee, introduced by author Pierre Courthion in accompanied Italian language text.

Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) the Swiss born Modernist artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of The Twentieth Century. Klee was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. His work reflects the ideas of Symbolism, Expressionism, Cubism, as well the simplicity of The Bauhaus designs. Artworks by Klee are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print Mid Century Modernist art book measures 4 3/4" W X 7" H X 1/4" D, with 64 pages. It features 20 lithograph print color illustrations, and is further enhanced with notes to the illustrations.
