Original mid-century abstract monotype by French artist Yves Doeffreaux, executed in warm ochre tones with expressive, gestural texture. The work reflects post-Surrealist and lyrical abstraction influences characteristic of European printmaking in the mid-20th century. The monotype is a one-of-a-kind, pulled from an inked plate and worked by hand, resulting in rich surface variation and organic movement. Signed in pencil at the
lower right. Printed on heavy rag paper.
