We believe it to be the work of Daniel Owen Stolpe. I have included a picture from his obituary of him standing next to a very similar sculpture of his. While mostly known as a printmaker his sculptures are wonderful as well. This one is mounted onto a black marble or granite base. The sculpture is in good condition except for one corner of the base wear some of the patina has worn away, which is pictured in detail. See less
