About the Artist

Luis Caballero studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris (1963–64) and relocated permanently to Paris in 1969. His work was widely exhibited internationally, including in New York, Paris, Washington D.C., Lisbon, Berlin, Bogotá, and Caracas.

Caballero is best known for his intense and lyrical depictions of the male nude, exploring themes of vulnerability, desire, and the physicality of the human body. His works are held in major museum and private collections worldwide.
