A true statement tabletop-styling piece, this vintage French chinoiserie by Gien France in pattern: “Oiseaux de Paradis” faience vide poche tray shows an iconic Bird of Paradise pattern on this mid-century catchall tray blending artistry and functionality. The detailed design showcases exotic birds among lush foliage, set within a scalloped white cartouche. The 'signature' emerald fish-scale border adds sophistication, while the warm palette of ochre, rust, teal and navy rim add painterly charm.
Hand painted by Faïencerie de Gien in the Loire Valley, this tray will add elegance to any space with it's high-quality craftsmanship.
