They have then both been beautifully hand-decorated in the Famille rose palette with over-glaze polychrome enamels using pinks, yellow, green, blues and a ruby red. (Five color palette) on conforming wood stands. Each porcelain jar of baluster form with low domed cover supported on an unglazed foot-rim with flat base. Boldly painted around the body with scenes of elegant ladies and men, all in between lappet borders and intricate border patterns to the neck and base. The cover with the petal band repeated beneath beautiful figural flora and fauna on the dome. These are a very impressive, beautifully hand-painted pair.
