The bowl in ceramic vibrant turquoise tint blue Sevres enamel glaze is detachable, signed PM Sevres, by Paul Milet for Sèvres.
Paul Jean Milet (French 1870 - 1950) came from a family of potters in the town of Sèvres and entered his father's pottery workshop in 1894 where for the next 36 years, he created high-quality ceramics sought after by a Parisian clientele. His work is distinguished by the Art Nouveau movement influence and his early works favor floral decor like this one, with a passion for a very high-quality glazing work in vibrant colors that became his trademark. less
