A magnificent, fine and impressive vintage George IV English style plated silver tea tray.
This magnificent antique look George IV style silver plated tea tray has a rectangular shaped form with rounded corners.
The surface of this antique silver tray is embellished with flat engraved spiraling scrolling leaf and floral ornamentation, accented with bud motifs.
The raised rounded border of this rectangular silver tea tray is ornamented with exceptional cast and applied floral and foliate decoration, reflecting the style of that to the surface.
This magnificent tray is fitted with a fine and impressive pair of cast handles, conjoined to the broad border.
The tray is supported by four cast claw and ball style feet accented with further floral and foliate designs to the upper portion.
Condition
Hallmarks to the underside of the tray are not very clear.
