Large Chinese blue and white porcelain seated Kuan Yin/Buddha on a qilin, seated in a pose of ease on a … Read more Large Chinese blue and white porcelain seated Kuan Yin/Buddha on a qilin, seated in a pose of ease on a lotus throne atop a scaly bearded qilin which stands astride a cloud and is dressed with a lotus blossom saddle, KuanYin's right and left hands are in Karana mudra, the left hand holding a Ru Yi scepter. Clothed in a cloak of stylized clouds over flowing robes of ornate floral embellishment, wearing the crown of Amitabha and a necklace. Exquisite fine realistic detail through out, down to the fingernails. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. See less
