I absolutely love the colors Ron used and the beauty he captured of the horse. This painting would look right at place in a den or study or anywhere a pop of color is needed in your home. Ron was a gifted and talented self-taught artist. Framed in a black acrylic frame under glass. Art size showing is 9.5" X 7.5".

Ron found art to be his true passion in life after separating from the Air Force in 1995. Not only was Ron a self-taught artist, but he also taught a crippled racehorse, Metro, to paint. Metro was adopted by Ron and his wife when Metro was injured on the racetrack. In the 5 years Metro and Ron painted together, they were able to raise over $80,000.00 for Retired Racehorse Adoption. They were also successful in increasing adoption applications by over 50% and they were featured in news media all over the world. See less
