The Modernist lithograph print is printed in Japan in 1969 in an unnumbered limited edition by Harry N. Abrams Publishers Inc. New York, as part of a first edition publication of Picasso lithograph prints. It features an artwork image originally created by Picasso in 1925 titled " The Studio with Plaster Head ".

Pablo Picasso ( 1881 - 1973 ) was a Spanish born painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, poet and playwright who spent most of his life in France. He is regarded as one of the most important and influential artists of The Twentieth Century. Exceptionally prolific throughout the course of his long life, Picasso achieved universal renown and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, and became one of the most well known figures in 20th Century Art.

The lithograph print plate image measures 8 3/4" W X 6 1/2" H, on a page backing that is 9 1/2" W X 12" H. The print is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand on the top and left side edge. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image.

The rare out of print Modernist lithograph print in excellent very clean vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. See less
