I was lucky enough to pickup some incredible paintings by the important 20th Century English artist, Verina Warren. For as important as she is, it is difficult to find a complete biography on the artist. Known for her textile and painting mixed medias her work is in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum. It also surprises me, but her works very rarely come to market. I could only find some mention of some others on Pinterest and a few other websites but nothing having sold or being for sale. I am offering the 3 works I acquired this week so if you have been waiting for a chance to purchase some of her works, dont miss out. This one is a stunning watercolor on paper of a beautiful garden - probably in Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. Painting measures 9 3/4 x 13 1/4 inches. Outstanding as painted condition. Signed and dated lower right on the double archival matte. Simple gold frame is complimentary and ready to hang. On the back of the painting is also a tape label that has the title of the work.
