Inspired by 18th Century maritime folklore, the wreckers light was used to lure ships to the rocks on stormy nights in order to salvage their cargo. These primitive light towers evolved progressively into modern day lighthouses as governments took action to map and signal our Coastlines. 60 watt Edison incandescent bulb included.
