Fantastic vintge condition. No damage, flea bites, breaks. These are quite entertaining and will bring fun conversations. Each glass depicts a bare tree scene, representing a different season: winter, spring, summer, and autumn. They are a mid-century modern collectible items. These are four vintage thermochromic "Four Seasons" old-fashioned tumblers by the Houze Glass Company (USA). They are designed to change color when filled with cold liquid. This is a four-piece set of multicolor foliage-patterned glassware from HOUZE Art. Each piece is round in shape and has a diameter of 3 1/8", with an item height of 4 1/8". Perfect for cold beverages, this set is perfect for whiskey glass, old-fashioned glass, and/or cocktail glass, all featuring heat changing, color changing, and thermochromic enamel.

The Houze "Four Seasons" set uses thermochromic technology, which means they react to temperature shifts. When you add a chilled liquid or ice, the bare tree designs on the glasses "transform" to represent different seasons. As the glass cools down, the following changes typically occur:
Spring: Light growth or leaves "sprout" on the trees.
Summer: The trees become "full-blown" with leaves.
Autumn: Leaves appear to be "falling" from the trees.
Winter: Snowflakes appear around the trees.

This effect is reversible; as the glass returns to room temperature, the colors and designs fade back to their original state. Because these are vintage items from the 1970s, the color-changing ability can sometimes wear out or stop working over time due to age or improper care (like being put in a dishwasher or adding heated liquids).
