The family crest dominates both sides and is accented with a laurel leaf in blue around the crest. The glaze contains imperfections from the production process. The enameling on the crest has faded over time. We date this object to the late 18th C. The neck of the caddy appears to have had an attempt at repair as the coloring is slightly darker than the remainder of the piece (see photos for condition details). Overall a highly desirable and collectable Quing Dynasty tea caddy. See less
