A … Read more Mid-Century; Italian Foundry, hand-made terra-cotta ceramic, molded and formed, ashtray/catchall dish made exclusively for Rosenthal-Netter for the American marketplace. A wonderful; blue to azure and ultramarine and aqua variations of blues, high gloss, glazed ashtray/catchall dish with the exterior or outer perimeter surround in a matte or slat-glazed, lava-like finish, emblazoned on each corner surface, with an incised, recessed floral design of a tulip. Marked on the underside with and recessed impression, country of provenance, and along adjacent to the side numerical addition #1024 with the, "B," for Bitossi, as is marked. Well-maintained, with minute flea-bite nicks to the brown, slat-glazed portion, normal, conducive and indicative with sued pieces, given the nature of the material utilized, otherwise no breaks nor cracks to this lovely piece. Perfect for any catchall, inclusions into any foray of an interior domain, given the precise possibilities vary form person to person, and a such, take on personal valuations of intrinsic qualities for each and every individual person, whom embodies, an artistic, and eclectic, yet universal attribute of inclusion of a coveted genre period piece.
