It was crafted in Italy, as evidenced by the stamp on the back (refer to picture 15). The garland at the top drapes gracefully over a bevel-edged mirror. This Italian mirror is in remarkably good condition. The wood frame is intact without any breaks or repairs to the more delicate pieces. The glass plate is also in very good condition. There is a sticker on the back with the name Baker Knapp & Tubbs and a bar code (refer to picture 16). This is a very heavy mirror, so care should be taken when hanging it on a wall.

I photographed this Italian mirror outside on a sunny February afternoon, which accounts for the glowing appearance of the gilding, which is exquisite. It will invariably look different when viewed in an interior setting under artificial light.
