Marvelous and unusual Treasure Craft bowl from the 1960s/'70s.
Glazed ceramic bowl is decorated with hand-painted Southwestern/Native American motifs. Two stylized Thunderbirds with blue stones in the center (which could be turquoise) alternate with two white crosses (signifying paths crossing). Between them are groupings of three brown arrowheads, two pointing up, one down.
Treasure Craft USA is painted across the lower rim. Black painted rim around the lip, black and brown stripes painted around the middle. The glazing has some uneven patches and pockmarks, but the overall condition is excellent.
Treasure Craft was a Los Angeles company that produced ceramics from 1945 to 1995, including licensed pottery for Disney. This is a lovely, unique centerpiece for any room and decor.
