This luxurious silk fabric is made with a weaving technique by Artisans in Japan from another age, the workmanship and detail deserve to be appreciated as works of art.
This Unique Yellow Ocher lumbar pillow has a beautiful colorful textured stripe appearance, elevating an otherwise basic stripe into a thing of beauty. Equal parts crisp and tailored, yet pretty and eclectic, it's the perfect piece to layer into any pillow-scape.
How to use:
This lumbar size is extremely versatile and works perfectly placed in front of a larger bed to create a simple but stylish bed pillow-scape; A perfect item to refresh any couch, or a very special gift for a very special person.

Detals:
100% Obi silk dating from the 80’s.
I embellish and highlight this design with a piping sewn on the top and the bottom. I cover a thick cotton cord by hand with the fabric, used in the back side.
Both edges are adorned with a lovely vintage silky fringe giving to this design a special touch.
The reverse used a yellow ocher velvet chenille designer fabric, combining perfectly with the ensemble.
Fully lined and fully interfaced with fusible interfacing making this cushion more robust; Making it extremely durable keeping its perfect shape.
Japanese pillow cover is sewn professionally, over-locked with finished edges to prevent fraying and for a high professional handcrafted finish.
It includes a zipper opening sewn at the bottom, for easy removal and cleaning.
To give an impeccable finished I use “My Vaporette” professional steam ironing and a miniature board.

Size, approximately:
Without Fringe and Without Piping: 12.79x34.84 inches.
With Fringe and With Piping: 13.58x37.2 inches.
The finished dimensions in all my covers are always slightly smaller than the pillow inserts; creating a form-fitting designer pillow that is nice and plump.

Note:
Pillow inserts are not included. This lumbar cover fits perfectly in an insert 14x36 inches.
By request it is available and made to order, 14x36 inches hypoallergenic lumbar pillow inserts that are safe for people suffering from allergies. The model will be elegantly sewed with high thread count smooth non- woven cotton fabric and meticulously filled with top quality 100% corn fiber filling.
