I love this antique Asian bronze table lamp, which is from the late 1800s. It has been rewired with cloth wire and double pull chain sockets.. There is also a a on/off switch at the base of the lamp.
The details of the lamp are what make it attractive, where the graceful tapering at the center accentuates a square-like design and interesting carving on the lamp surface. There are engraved stylized designs and protruding elements on a stepped square base.
It is 44 inches tall and the base is sic inches by six inches., base 6 inches by 6 inches
CONDITION: There is a small loss to top mount with a two inch sratch to the lamp surface..
PROVENANCE: acquired at auction
