These set of vintage cups and saucers have been with me for many years. I cannot date them but looking at the imprinted markings JA26 on one of the saucers and Made in England printed in blue on the bottom of the cups and saucers, I noticed that they have a few transfer flaws, which indicates that they were in the early stages of Blue & White transfer printing.

They are in perfect condition and are lovely not just to have a good English cup tea, but for a café con leche too! The saucers are slightly larger and deeper than a regular saucer, so you can rest your biscuit on the saucer while enjoying your tea,
You can see in my enlarged photograph of the imprinted markings on one of the saucers.
Little blue transfer bleeding on the Made in England and a couple of pin dots. They are minor and you will not see them unless you look for them.
