Edwardian English Ebony Wood Vanity Hair Receiver. This lovely piece is in excellent condition with minor scratches as a result of age and normal use. The Top screws on and off easily to allow for removal of the hair. “Ebony” is stamped on the bottom as seen in the photos.
This Receiver was used on the vanity table to save locks of the Lady of the home’s hair or a Child’s lock of hair.
This Receiver was found in London about 30 years ago.
