This exceptional piece represents one of the most iconic expressions of Swedish ceramic design from the interwar period.

Executed in Gustavsberg’s signature deep green glaze, the vase is adorned with finely worked silver decoration depicting the mythological scene of Leda and the Swan. The Argenta series is a defining example of Swedish Grace, a style that blended classical inspiration with modern restraint and was introduced to international acclaim at the Stockholm Exhibition of 1930. The vase is in very good vintage condition, with the silver decoration on both the upper section and around the foot beautifully preserved.
