An exceptional French Louis XVI–style demi-lune console table, richly veneered and executed in the grand tradition of Parisian neoclassical furniture. The shaped top is entirely veneered, featuring intricate marquetry with a dramatic central floral reserve framed by chevron and crossbanded borders—an artisanal surface intended to be appreciated as decorative cabinetry rather than stone.
The frieze incorporates a discreet central drawer fitted with original gilt bronze ring pulls, while the curved corners and apron panels are embellished with finely cast ormolu mounts.
