Coalport Pattern 599 Hand Painted Imari Japan Coffee Cup & Saucer
circa 1810-1815. That makes this teacup 211- 216 years old. The condition of this 200+ year old teacup is remarkable. There is no loss of gilding, cracks, or chips, or crazing. It is the London form/ London shape teacup and saucer. Decorated in pattern 599 with hand painted Imari flowers and scrollwork in cobalt, red, orange, and gold. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked except for 599 on the bottom of the cup and saucer.
