This captivating hand colored copperplate engraving by Jean Jubrien Chalonnois was printed in Amsterdam in 1645. It was published by Joannes Blaeu and depicts "Diocese de Rheims, et le païs de Rethel (area around Rheims, a province of France)." It provides a great deal of detail. This map is over 370 years old.
Dimensions of map only : 21.5" by 25.25" (includes the folded over margins as shown in the photos... does not affect image). The mat measures 25"W x 20"H. This fine, decorative antique map will not only be a great addition to your collection, but will look great as well!
