It has his signature … Read more This is an absolutely fantastic handmade tile plaque by Ulm, Germany artist Helmut Freidrick Schaffenacker (1921-2010). It has his signature mark to the back. This wall hanging depicts two forward facing horses looking to the side. One is in a copper gunmetal glaze the other more of a orangey rust color. The textures and glazes are great on this tile. It is very thick and chunky. The tile measures 17 1/2“ x 7“. It is from around 1960. There is a mounted hanger to the back, ready to go. See less
