A set of (4) four very fine hand-colored prints from original copper plate engravings on handmade rag of monkeys by Naturalist George Leclerc Compte de Buffon (1749-1761): Malbrouck, Patas a Bandeau Noir, La Mone (Mona Monkey), and Mandrille. Professionally and Exquisitely framed in gilt gold-colored frames with exquisite hand painted gold and brown matting by Phoenix Galleries in Atlanta, Georgia.
Each measures: 14" wide x 16" high (with frame).
